To help legacy brand Rosetta Stone reclaim its title as the most respected name in language learning, we created "There’s a Word for That": a series of delectably bizarre short films built around words with no English equivalent. Each word got the star treatment, hand crafted and shot practically, branding included. Directed by Marie Schuller and shot on film, these stories remind us how satisfying learning a language can be — even if it’s just a single, perfect word. The results: we sparked a new emotional connection with a distracted, app-native generation and earned over 17M views.
